Bob Frawley’s career has been directed at building effective systems of support and services for children and families. This includes working on a variety of research and policy initiatives, including projects addressing such issues as runaway and homeless youth, child abuse and neglect, juvenile justice, primary prevention programs, and services for children with disabilities. For the last 35 years, he has focused his efforts primarily on issues related to young children and their families. Bob has led many statewide early childhood initiatives. He is a member of the Governor’s Early Childhood Advisory Council, where he serves on the Steering Committee and leads work on data and financing. Much of his time is spent as a volunteer for the Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance, which is a project of the Adirondack Community Foundation. He also serves as a board member and policy committee chair for Hunger Solutions NY.
