Karen has been with our Healthy Families program since 2017 as a Family Specialist home visitor. However, she has been supporting children and families for over thirty years! Karen partners with nearly twenty families, providing in-home support to caregivers during regular visits. The Healthy Families model uses an infant mental health approach in which services are relationship-focused, strengths-based, culturally respectful, and anchored to the parallel process. Karen is also a Certified Lactation Counselor. Karen’s belief in providing a strong, healthy, and nurturing foundation for children is evident by the reliable, consistent support she provides to the caregivers she partners with. Karen is a BRIGHT LIGHT to our program, the families and children we support, and our community!
