This reflective, interactive session centers on relationship-based approaches to building authentic partnerships with families, with attention to supporting school-age parents. Participants will explore strategies for strengthening trust, honoring family voice, and navigating power and communication across systems. The session also addresses effective collaboration with administrators while maintaining advocacy for families and alignment with IMH principles. Participants will:

  • Strengthen relationship-based practices for engaging families
  • Explore strategies to support school-age parents within systems of care
  • Increase confidence in communicating with administrators while advocating for families
