The New York State Association for Infant Mental Health (NYS-AIMH)
presents our first annual, state-wide conference for the multi-disciplinary early childhood workforce
Friday, June 3, 2022 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (on Zoom)
Keynote: Victor Bernstein, PhD, retired professor from the University of Chicago with a career focused on building relationships and the Ordinary Miracles that are created in our everyday work.
For the afternoon, participants have a choice of four workshops based on work settings:
- Workshop #1 In Family Homes Panelists will include practitioners working in family homes in a variety of programs, like Healthy Families New York, Nurse Family Partnership, Early Intervention, and child welfare.
- Workshop #2 With Children in Care Settings Panelists will include practitioners working in Childcare, Pre-K and Kindergarten, Head Start, and CPSE.
- Workshop #3 Providing Specialty Care Panelists will include practitioners working in Health Care, IECMH Clinicians, Family Court, WIC, and Pediatric medical practice.
- Workshop #4 Working on Behalf of Children and Families: Education, Research, and Policy Panelists will include practitioners working in Higher Education, Research, Policy, and local and regional policy and community development.
