“Infant Mental Health: Theory To Practice” (Cohort VII)

Through an environment of reflective learning and exploration, this ten week course focuses on the theory and practice of Infant Mental Health from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Participants of all stages of professional development will deepen their understanding of  attachment theory, psycho-dynamic practice, secure attachment characteristics, IMH assessment and intervention, and the social/emotional/attachment development from ages 0-3 years. This course is carefully aligned with NYS-AIMH’s Competency Guidelines® and Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health®. The lead instructor is Sarah Fitzgibbons, LMHC, MT-BC, IMH-E®, Infant Mental Health Mentor- Clinical

Cost: For the Fall, 2017 training,  SPCC is pleased to announce that we have secured funds to underwrite 50% of the cost, and offer the training at a reduced rate of $500 for participants.
