The keynote presentation, Promoting Children’s Language & Literacy Development: A Culturally Informed Approach, will be delivered by Dr. Carol Scheffner Hammer, Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders, Department of Biobehavioral Sciences, Teachers College, Columbia University. This seventh annual event brings together students, educators, and the general public to share information and resources on topics related to working with young children.

The conference meets five hours of NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) training requirements and offers 0.65 ASHA CEUs.
